PTFE dry

Reference : PT 0037

A high quality PRO-Tech PTFE Dry Lubricant for mechanical components in metal or synthetic materials that need protection against oil and grease residues. The product forms a dry anti-static film that is virtually invisible, eliminating problems caused by friction on start-up and due to slipping. It is resistant to weather, acids and soft alkalis; it is water-repellent and pH neutral.

Description of the PRO-Tech PTFE Dry Lubricant

High-quality dry lubricant based on PTFE for treating metal and plastic mechanical componentsin which no oil or grease can remain. Due to the unique composition the product forms an antistatic, dry and virtually invisible film that reduces the starting and sliding friction to zero. PRO-Tech PTFE Dry has a very low coefficient of friction, a fine texture(particle size approximately 5 micrometres) and a very good adhesion. PTFE Dry is resistant to weather influences and weak acids and alkalis, is water-repellent and pH neutral. It prevents wear and jamming. PRO-Tech PTFE Dry can withstand temperatures from -180°C to + 260°C. PRO-Tech PTFE Dry has a directed spray pattern and can be used at any angle (360°).

Our dry PTFE spray offers a very low friction coefficient, an almost smooth texture, with particles of approximately 5 micrometres, together with very good adhesion.  It therefore reduces wear and seizure for machine and equipment parts, conveyor belts, guide rails, machinery/agricultural parts.

Instructions for use

Before use, carefully read the instructions on the packaging and act accordingly.

The aerosol can should be at room temperature. The ideal processing temperature is from 5 to 30°C.

Shake the aerosol can before use. Apply the PRO-Tech PTFE Dry in a thin layer. After evaporation of the solvent (approximately5 minutes) a protective, dry PTFE film is formed.

DANGEROUS. FOLLOW THE PRECAUTIONS.
